Are you ready to be forgo your go-to drunk snack, at least for this weekend?

An 18-year-old McDonald’s employee was fed up with the conditions of his workplace, and decided to expose what was going on.

So Nick (@phuckyounick) shared photos from inside a mouldy ice cream maker and other greasy sections on Twitter, reports The Telegraph:

Nick claims he lost his job shortly after posting the photos “exposing McDonald’s”, but tweeted that he already had another one lined up when he decided to post them online.

Here’s what those dirty sections of the McDonald’s outlet in Louisiana look like:

The slot in the ice cream maker that the mouldy part comes from:

In an attempt to make you feel better about eating their food, McDonald’s released a statement saying “the equipment seen in the photos does not come into contact with any food”:

“We are committed to running great restaurants that provide our customers with high quality food, service and a clean environment,” a spokesperson said.

“This is a part of our soft serve equipment that does not come into contact with any food and is required to undergo regular and timely cleaning.”

If you didn’t think their food was gross enough, that weak excuse should be enough to put you off eating McDonald’s for life.

Until you stumble off Long Street and the Golden Arches call your name.
