  • Over 20 Million People Watched Kanye Urinate On His Grammy Yesterday [Video]

I’m a big fan of Twitter, which reacts in real-time to world events unlike any other form of social media.

Last night, if you popped in at around 7:30PM, after Cyril announced that we are dropping to alert level 1 and can now buy booze on Fridays (starting from next week, so stock up today if need be), you would have seen Kanye was trending in a big way.

In recent times, he’s gone on some serious Twitter benders, with Kim Kardashian West requesting that the public show empathy, as her husband battles bipolar disease, a frail mental state, and what many say are manic episodes.

Yesterday’s tweets take the cake, though, and there’s one that really stands out from the crowd.

We will give it some context in a bit, but time to dive in:

    Trust me … I WONT STOP pic.twitter.com/RmVkqrSa4F

As you can see from that view count, we’re well past 20 million views now.

There’s a chance Kanye might delete the tweet, I suppose, so here’s a YouTube version in case that happens:

I can’t help but feel that he missed a trick.

He should have pissed into the Grammy, which would have made for far superior acoustics. Sure, that could lead to splashing, but that’s a risk you must take for your art.

For more on why Kanye was so irate, here’s Variety:

[He] followed through on his complaints about the music industry and his demands to be released from his recording and music-publishing deals by tweeting out dozens of pages from his recording contract with Universal Music Group.

After referring to the music industry as “modern day slavery,” West tweeted, “Here are my ten Universal contracts … I need every lawyer in the world to look at these,” and after posting illegible images of contracts, then began tweeting out the pages, two at a time…

His recent tweets also included mention of his publishing deal with Sony/ATV, however he and the company — which he sued early in 2019, followed by a counter-suit from Sony/ATV — settled their legal battle late last year. West seemed to have Universal primarily in his sights on Wednesday.

He then showed his disdain with the urinating video.

Somebody get this man the help that he needs.
